A magical mixture of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils!

(Miss Coles is keeping a note of who does / does not bring homework in). > Spellings are handed out on a Thursday and tested the following Thursday. > Book bags must be in school every day. > PE kits must be in school every day.

Dream for a Druid
Miss Coles has already booked us a trip to Cardiff Museum on Thursday 23rd January to learn all about 'the grave of a Celtic Warrior'.
Letters were handed out before the Christmas holidays. The total cost of the visit is £3.50 to cover the cost of the transport.
We will be leaving school at 9:10 and returning by 12:15 so the children will have packed lunch / school dinners as usual.

Your homework for the half term holiday is to create a 3D 999 Emergency vehicle.
You can use a variety of materials such as, clay, felt, recycled goods etc...
Homework must be handed in on Friday 8th November.
Sgwar: Continue to practise your 4 times tables for class next week. Cilch: Continue to practise your 5 times tables for class next week. Pupils that go to Narnia class for maths: Continue to practise your 9 times tables for class next week.
Miss Coles is overwhelmed by the 3D emergency vehicles that you all made at home! They are all outstanding! Pictures are soon to be uploaded. Friday 6th December: Your homework for this week is to solve the word problems that Miss Coles has sent out in your homework books. You also need to learn your times tables ready for a multiplication test next week... Year 3: 5 x tables. Year 4: 2 x tables. Year 5: 4 x tables. Year 6: 9 x tables.
Friday 10th January: Your homework for this week is to follow this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/celts/activities/druid.shtml and create a factual poster in your homework books all about the Celtic Gods. Include as much detail as you can. Remember to make your posters attractive too, they need to grab the reader’s attention! Pob lwc! Homework must be returned on Friday 17th January.
