The Tiger Who Came To Tea Class

September 2013

Welcome back! I hope you have all had a wonderful Summer holiday.

PE is every Tuesday and Thursday, so please remember your PE kits. We are doing gymnastics this term so you won't need trainers.
There will be a weekly spelling test done in class with Miss Ward every Friday, and a Maths test done with me on Monday mornings.
Please remember to bring in your reading books everyday, for guided reading, buddy reading or individual reading. Also can you write in your records each time you read, as well as a grown up.

As our class is now called 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea', we will be doing lots of exciting work from the book during our first week back. We will also spend this time getting to know each other a little better.

Our new topic is called Blood, Bones & Gory Bits'. We will be looking at the human body and many other interesting things!

What an interesting week! As well as dissecting a pig's heart, we've also created our own digestive tracts looking at how food travels through our bodies. Also a big well done for your efforts using plasticine to make digestive systems, they look great!
